What you need to know:
Senate Bill 5377 attempts to force Tesla to close our numerous sales centers across the state and could impact in- state service offerings. As a result, Washington residents could need to travel out-of-state to complete their new Tesla electric vehicle (EV) purchase. There could also be impacts to Tesla’s warranty and other service activities in Washington.
Tesla’s direct-to-consumer model allows us to provide customers with consistent and transparent pricing regardless of where someone lives. Washington should focus on increasing revenue and jobs in the state, not stifling competition and limiting consumer choice.
Using the tools above, send a message your state representatives by sharing what this bill means to you and why it is bad for Washington. Tell them your story as an EV owner in Washington and let them know that you OPPOSE SB 5377.
