Tesla Owner's Club of Michigan is proud to roll out the Adopt-A-Supercharger Program in 2023.
Adopting a supercharger ultimately comes down to helping set the example for the Tesla community, and for the community at large. Far too often we arrive at a Supercharger only to see litter all around the stations, which is not an optic that helps the cause of environmentalism or sustainability. As Tesla owners, we have access to the largest charging network in the world, why not do what we can to show others why we are so passionate?
Tesla Owner's Club of Michigan needs volunteers! Do you live near a Supercharger and would be willing to make at least one trip per month to pick up garbage at a Supercharger? Would you like to help donate tools, cleaning supplies, or money to help our volunteer teams?
Our goal is to make Michigan stand out as the best charging infrastructure in the world and to provide the same style garbage cans and windshield wiper cleaning as you see at any gas station.

I think the idea is a good one, some sure can get messy. I first used a Tesla supercharger in November 2019 in Arizona. I do out of habit return shopping carts, hang up unhooked plugs and pick up litter every stop. Often there is a trash can on the way to a restroom somewhere anyway. Lets all do our part if we adopt a supercharger or not.

I would love to participate. We are getting a new 12 stall supercharge in Ypsi at the Meijer on Carpenter & Ellsworth. I'm there weekly grocery shopping.

Hello Everyone,
Have been out doing intial clean up of a few sites. Grateful to the people that have begun working and making these locations a better place. We need more help. Yesterday at the Ann Arbor SuperCharger, we returned nine cards to a cart corral and picked up a total of a 33 gal bag of trash. This location was completely full when we arrived and cars were moving in and out the entire two hours that we were at the location, Many cars from Canada, we also had visitors from New York, Indiana, Illinois and Ohio. Glad to meet everyone and we were thanked over and over again for the effort to clean up. If you can lend a hand, please contact Casey Loring. I will even come to the SuperCharger location anywhere and help with the first cleanup effort.
