2nd Annual Tunnel of Trees Drive - Saturday, October 15, 2022

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 15, 2022! We know it’s still early, but we want to get it on the calendar. Last year’s Tunnel of Trees Fall Drive had a great turnout, and that was with a mere two months’ lead time. Over 20 Teslas joined us! While there may be some fine tuning of details, here’s a rundown of the day:

Come enjoy a beautiful fall day in Northern Michigan by taking a fall color tour through the scenic Tunnel of Trees, located on M-119 (Lakeshore Drive) between Harbor Springs and Cross Village. Maybe even make a weekend out of it! We start by meeting up at the Mackinaw City Supercharger. Enjoy lunch and a meet-and-greet at Rusted Spoke Brewing Company across the street from the Supercharger. From there we head towards the Tunnel of Trees, taking the scenic roads from Mackinaw City to Cross Village, where we enter the norther end of the Tunnel of Trees. We wind our way through the Tunnel and the town of Good Hart, concluding the Tunnel in Harbor Springs. A few miles further south, we wrap up the day’s event with a mixer at the Petoskey Brewing Company.

The day’s event runs approximately 4-5 hours. Meet and greet is from 11-1, the drive is roughly two hours, and then maybe spend an hour at Petoskey Brewing. This still leaves plenty of time to get home if you have a long drive. Or make a weekend of it and stay at one of the many great hotels in the area, some of which offer complimentary destination charging to Tesla owners.
