How to Enable Pop-Ups
Often times, when clicking on a link that sends you to a new page, your computer takes extra precautions to protect itself from potential viruses. In doing so, it automatically sets your browser preferences to block all "pop-ups" and links that redirect you. If you find that one of our redirect links doesn't work, like when sending an automated email to a lawmaker, please see below for instructions on how to enable pop-ups and redirect links on your specific browser:
— Navigate to Chrome.
— At the top right, click More Settings.
— Under "Privacy and security," click Site settings.
— Click Pop-ups and redirects.
— At the top, turn the setting to Allowed.
— Click the menu button and select Settings.
— Select the Privacy & Security panel.
— Under the Permissions section, uncheck the box next to Block pop-up windows to disable the pop-up blocker altogether.
— A click on Exceptions… opens a dialog box with a list of sites that you want to allow to display pop-ups.
— Click "Allow all websites".
— Navigate to Safari.
— Navigate to "Preferences".
— Choose "Websites".
— Scroll down to "Pop-Up Windows" and click "allow".
— Navigate to Microsoft Menu
— Choose Settings
— Navigate to Site Permissions
— Scroll down to "Pop-ups and redirects" and toggle them on to allow pop-ups on your device.
— Navigate to Internet Explorer
— Select the Tools button , and then select Internet options.
— On the Privacy tab, under Pop-up Blocker, select or clear the Turn on Pop-up Blocker check box, and then select OK.
