After learning about 4 year old Whitaker and his struggles with cancer, Virginia Tesla Owner members got together and took part in a heartwarming surprise gathering for him on his way to school. Virginia Tesla Owners bought a Tesla for Whitaker, and worked with local shops and sponsors to wrap it in yellow with BumbleBee stickers (his favorite) just in time to present it to him on his birthday! Additionally, through donations, our club was able to provide Whitaker's parents with some restaurant & movie theater gift-cards as well as Car detailing credits to a local detail shop. All in all, our members showed heart and compassion and the smile on little Whitaker's face made it all well worth the efforts. (Pictures and a video below)
