Some of our East Bay club members were fortunate to be invited to the Model S plaid delivery event.
It was a pretty amazing day, seeing many familiar faces and some we have not gotten to see since before the Pandemic it was a Tesla family reunion of sorts on top of the bubbling excitement of this latest product reveal.
Though none of us were home to this amazing Tesla community when the Model S was first unveiled over 9 years ago, this was a monumental step. To see the evolution of the "Car and Driver Car of the Century" was a privilege. Thru magic, hard work, and ingenuity it's truly impressive to see how they redesigned a 5 seat family sedan to be the fastest production car 0-60 on earth, yet the safest car on the road as well.
Club members were also guest to experience that intense Plaid launch, the pull of the torque is so hard, so fast, so violent it's just nearly impossible to put into words. You literally have to experience it yourself to believe it. Hopefully East Bay will soon have a club member with one, we will be sure to let our club know.
