Sign the support letter for EV-friendly building codes in California!
We need building codes that include EV charging to make California ready for an electric transportation future, especially in apartments and condos, where home charging is scarce. It is much easier to plan for EV charging stations now than to retrofit these residences later.
By clicking the link below, you can sign on to a letter supporting strong building codes for the California Department of Housing & Community Development 2023 residential building code. Now is the time for EV-friendly building codes as part of the 2022 CALGreen building code updates, which also includes new apartments, condos, and workplaces.

Changes to California Solar Net Energy Metering
The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) is updating net energy metering (NEM) policy. Some of the changes under consideration would make rooftop solar much less affordable by increasing grid interconnect fees, reducing credits and limiting the ability to carry credits from month to month.
To learn more, visit the Save California Solar website, where you can also sign a letter to Governor Newsom in support of keeping rooftop solar affordable and accessible.
