Owner Story - The Sieberts
Taking their Starship across the country
Since receiving their Model 3, nicknamed “Starship”, in March 2018, the Siebert family of 4 has had numerous adventures across the U.S. in their vehicle. From California to Washington DC, Key West to South Dakota, Starship has been everywhere.
The Perfect Vehicle For Adventure
The Sieberts have not only enjoyed multiple road trips in their Model 3, but they've even had the opportunity to visit a few campsites across the United States. They told us "one of our adventures took us down the PCH with all of our camping gear in tow. We pitched a tent, stayed for a few nights and explored the area, then packed up and moved down the coast in 'one full charge.' One rainy day in Napa Valley took us to a library to escape the weather (yes, conveniently they had a charger). We were greeted by the Mayor of this small town who was hosting a salsa contest. We sampled recipe after recipe. A 12-year old girl with a tasty guacamole dip who took the win! It’s surprises like these, in unexpected places, that we would never experienced if we didn’t have Starship."
Starship's Future
As the Siebert family nears 100,000 miles on the odometer, they have decided to “take her to her leader”. They plan to take their next journey to SpaceX's Starbase in Texas to hopefully watch a Starship launch in person. The Sieberts' ownership experience is one of many that contradicts the common misconception that road tripping in a Tesla is inconvenient and boring, it's actually quite the opposite!
