TOCKC - Benefits of Membership

Several times members have been asking what the benefits of joining the club are. While this post is by no means exhaustive, I will try to highlight some of the value brought to members so far this year and an outline of what is planned.

Outside of the obvious benefit of meeting up with folks that have at least something in common with you and allowing an avenue to learn from the experiences of others here are the more tangible benefits:

• Private Tesla Tours - Our members have been given private tours of Tesla facilities where they can learn about how Tesla repairs both mechanical and physical damage to Tesla vehicles.  Often these tours come with special perks for our members that have substantial value.
• Chiefs Tour - This was a special small group inside tour of the Chiefs that typically retails for $50 per person. It was made available at a discounted rate of $30 per member of which 100% of the proceeds were donated to charity. In addition it included a free book that retails in their store along with a chance to handle and take personal pictures with an AFC and NFC championship ring.
• Mavericks Ice Hockey Game - We were able to provide a large suite for the same price as a much smaller suite and popcorn was included free.
• Bull Creek Bourbon Tasting event - This was lead by a Bourbon Sommelier and included both bourbon and vodka tastings paired with food. Typically this runs to $40 per person and it was provided completely free of cost to members and each could bring a +1.
• Tesla Tavern Nights - Rotation in various different locations in and around the Kansas City Metro on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. The club has often picked up the tab for the first round of drinks and at least two times, the drinks tab or appetizers were picked up by last year's sponsor Ted Owens of Detail Auto & Window Tint fame. Not to mention finding new friends, getting stories and learning from the experience of others.
• Giveaways like calculators, caps, T-Shirts, Stickers, & More....

And there are more coming up some of which have tangible benefits (either reduction in cost or free). Here are events that are on the schedule for the remainder of the year:

• The Great Car Show
• Tavern Nights
• Picnic in a public park
• Wine and Wheels private chef dinner
• End of year Holiday Party
• Winery Tours
• and more!

The icing on the cake is that certain businesses such as Detail Auto and Window Tint are offering substantial discounts to club members that more than pays for the cost of the annual membership.  Many members have stated that they have saved hundreds of dollars all for the low cost of membership.
