Proud owner of a Model 3.
I was wondering if there was a good way of getting software improvement ideas to the Tesla engineers? I know you can leave a verbal comment through your Tesla, but it is unclear how much time you have to record your suggestion. It would be a lot easier to either have an email address to send ideas to, or a feedback form on their website.
Here are some of my thoughts for improvements:
- add a schedule to the radio, so that it will automatically change the channel so that you can catch particular programs that you don't want to miss
- add a favourites option to the Boombox. I've added a few personal sounds for the Horn and Driving Sounds on USB, but when I leave the car for a period of time, it defaults back to the standard sounds, and I return to find that I now have 'Fart' as my horn sound. If the system can't stay fixed on my USB selection, then it would be nice if I can favourite a standard sound, eg. 'Old Horn', so it it switches back to that instead. Similarly for the Driving Sounds.
- It would be nice if a passenger can change the Driving Sound while driving, instead of having to put it into Park to do that
- It would also be nice if the Tesla forum had a selection of alternative horn and driving sounds that owners had found/made, so that other owners could download them
- How about an 'Uber' mode so that the internal camera records what passengers are doing?
Anyway, I look forward to the next owners get-together.

Hey out there! I would love to see a searchable tech area for issues that owners have, that could be overseen by Tesla staff. Also a section where we could record thoughts for tweek's and changes that Tesla owners would like see, again moderated by Tesla staff.

Hi folks; New member Fredrick here. Wife and I just went for our test drive in a white on white dual motor model Y yesterday. Great feeling, been looking forward to owning a Tesla for two years. Bought some Tesla stock last year when the pandemic hit and the price per share came down. Paying for the MY is no problem now. We don't need the new car right away I'm thinking the order will be placed about the middle of April for a delivery date hoping in May. Looking forward to meeting up with other Tesla owners.
